Thoughts On The Match: AC Milan vs Tottenham Hotspur

  • Spurs dominated early stages of first-half, unlucky not to score – deserved to go ahead
  • Odd to see Milan in front on possession at the end of first-half
  • Second half, more of a brawl than football match
  • Gomes made two superb point-blank saves to deny Milan
  • Gattuso should have been given his marching orders, disgraceful behaviour in second half – furious with some decisions
  • Gattuso also shoved Spurs assistant manager Joe Jordan.
  • Woodgate played well on comeback
  • Spurs struggled while Milan were in their groove but late typical breakaway from Tottenham gave them the 3 points
  • After-match Gattuso tried to attack Jordan once more but teammates blocked him off.
  • Van Der Vaart man of the match for me, Sandro and Piennar also played well

About Dylan O'Neill

Football mad Irish 20-year-old. Living in Dublin so I've had a keen interest in League of Ireland for the last 2-3 years and used to write about it on offtheupright.blogspot.com, focusing mainly on UCD's limited fortunes as well as the Irish national team. I started to merge this interest with gambling two years ago to moderate success so have continued to do so since! View all posts by Dylan O'Neill
