Laser Attacks Nani, United Victim Of Yet Another Laser Attack

In a desperate plea to stop Nani, Marseille fans shone a laser on the trickster’s face during last night’s Champions League last 16 tie. As a result, UEFA are investigating the incident as well as investigating whether or not United fans had lit flares at the event.

A similar incident regarding lasers targeted at United players ocurred just three years ago when in the same competition at the same stage United were playing Olympique Lyon. Ronaldo was targeted by the Lyon fans and received a laser to the face in an attempt to stop the player’s progress, an incident which later cost Lyon a hefty £4,240 for “incidents of an unsporting nature”.
