Ashley Cole ‘Shoots’ Member Of Chelsea Backroom Staff

Not again..

Ashley Cole, the troublesome Chelsea left-back, has once again found himself in the limelight following his latest incident which involved him shooting an air rifle at a 21-year-old on work experience at Chelsea on Wednesday last week. Oh wait, but it gets better. The newspaper that reported this was the infamous, shit stirring News of The World who in the past has been known to lie or exaggerate on every subject they touch base on. In the past they’ve falsely accused that Wayne Rooney slapped his then-fiance Coleen Rooney and also that Ashley Cole had been involved in a gay sex romp involving the use of a mobile phone as a sex toy. Both claims were subsequently dealt with and NOTW had to fork out £100,000 as a result for the Rooney situation while for the Cole story, we still don’t know how it was resolved.

Cole, had apparently been “larking around” with a .22 air rifle before he accidentally shot Tom Cowan, the work placement student. A ‘source’ told the NOTW that:

“It’s truly inconceivable that a Premier League footballer could bring a gun to the training ground.“But Ashley pulled the rifle from a box and started larking about with it in the changing room, not realising it was loaded. It ended up pointed at Tom just five feet away.

“The gun went off with a loud pop and Tom screamed as this lead pellet hit him in the side. It went through his clothing and into his flesh.”

“He was bleeding profusely. He was in agony and seemed to go into shock as he steadied himself  and sat down on one of the benches.’

Seems Ashley’s still a “Gunner” at heart. See what I did there?
