To see you out folks I’ve found the most annoying song ever to come into existence. If you hadn’t heard it prior to this you must have been hiding under a rock for the last week or so.

Bad news. Gareth Bale’s injured. Again. Having played for Tottenham over the weekend he complained of feeling stiff after the match and had sat out two Wales training sessions before the doc’s decided to rule him out of the clash against England as a safety precaution. So what does this mean? Well, it means Wales have absolutely NO CHANCE of winning. He was their go-to-guy, their saviour. All my moneys on England now, what about you?
On a side note, Aaron Ramsey’s been handed the Welsh armband for Saturday’s qualifier in place of Bale.
Bolton midfielder Stuart Holden needs surgery after sustaining a knee-injury in Bolton’s 1-0 defeat at the hands of league leaders Manchester United on Saturday afternoon. Holden had contested in a challenge with United defender Jonny Evans when the injury occurred. Evans had dived in with his studs up and they met the knee of the American – the result was inevitable. Holden was left reeling and Evans saw red, which leaves United’s defence in a real state.
However, Holden had remained optimistic throughout the weekend and upon learning the extent of his injury he took to his twitter account and said:
Thx again 4 all the well wishes, w out my fans I wld be no where. Down 2 London 4 Surgery later today and then road 2 recovery begins.
I can promise you all I will come back stronger and better than before. Have had bad luck in the past and will continue to beat it.
He also went on to say that he had received a phone call from Jonny Evans apologising, which he gladfully accepted.
The president of a French village team has been suspended by the French Football Federation (FFF) after he launched a transfer bid for Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi.
Cedric Enjolras, president of FC Borne, has been hit with a six-month ban, three of which are suspended, after he attempted to lodge the joke bid with the Catalan giants.
Borne, a village of 400 people, play in the second division of the Haute-Loire league and their transfer offer was blocked by the player registration office of the FFF.
“To submit bids among small clubs, you need to fill out forms on the internet,” Enjolras is reported as saying by The Guardian. “I decided to register a bid so I typed the name Lionel Messi, his date of birth and his parent club into the system. Then the league transmitted the request to the federation.
“They were shocked by it and refused to send it to their Spanish counterparts. I have been suspended for six months, of which three are suspended. It was just a joke, to amuse friends.”
